A Forest Lover and a Physician on the Edge of the Frontier
Join author and educator Jack Nisbet as he brings to life the remarkable story, from his latest book, of pioneer doctor Carrie Lieberg and her forest surveyor husband in Salish Country, 1887-1904.

Jack’s schedule will include a host of public events around the region. Highlights include trips to Bellingham and Orcas Island in early October, followed by a swing through western Montana in the middle of the month.
