Republic’s Stonerose Fossil Center might never have been created without the efforts of amateur paleobotanist Wes Wehr. But fossil wonders were only a part of Wehr’s busy life, which included musical composition, success as a Northwest School landscape artist, and a wildly diverse array of famous friends.
