This is a slide presentation that will examine the travels of Scottish naturalist David Douglas and several early fur trade explorers of the region. Time not yet firmly set, but it is only one of several programs that will be taking place as part of the 75th Anniversary of the Sinlahekin Wildlife Area.

Driving directions to Sinlahekin Wildlife Area headquarters:

  • From Loomis, proceed west on Broadway Street which turns into Sinlahekin Road.
  • Proceed south on Sinlahekin Road about 3 miles to the wildlife area boundary and continue about 2-1/2 miles to the headquarters’ entrance road on left.
